Pleasing to see the boys play well and record our first clean sheet and our first win. Some nice interchanging of passes and we looked like world-beaters – breaks down a bit when we try to go one-on-one and beat the man instead of playing the easy pass. Mauro struck 1st after Baulko failed to clear a corner and he hit it hard and low. Farouks strike 2nd half was ruled out for offside, but was quickly followed by a goal that counted when Farouk laid a pass off for Joe who struck it beautifully into the back right corner.

Probably our worst game so far. We went into this game thinking we had it won before the game even started – wrong attitude. We were flat and played too much in the air and our passing was awful. Good chances 1st half to Tanesha from long range and Carly close in but alas it was not to be. 2nd half we were marginally better and again created a few chances but our finishing was off. Still we did not keep the ball on the ground enough. Finally Maddie B grabbed the winner for us with 10 to go. Yes we got the win but apart from that there were only 2 pleasing things from this game – Louana again great in goals and our defensive line again very strong.
