The Australian Sports Commission held a Coaching Course at
our grounds on Sat 16th Nov. The course was successfully completed by 7 people, 5 of whom
are from Holroyd Rangers Soccer Club. Congratulations to Maddie Bollard, Maddison Gray, Rodney
Gray, Cameron Nash, and John Nash, who all successfully completed the coaching course. The course was aimed at coaching football for primary school
aged children, and involved some theory as well as practical sessions. At the
end of the course each participant was required to prepare and implement a 10
minute coaching session of their own choosing demonstrating the aspects of
coaching football that they had learned about. Well done to all participants.
