Coaches and Managers Meeting Tues 20 March

We are holding a mandatory Coaches and Managers meeting on Tue 20th March at the Crown on McCredie hotel, corner of Fairfield Rd and McCredie Rd Guildford West.

The Crown on McCredie is one of our major sponsors this year.

630pm start for all MiniRoos teams (U6s - U11s), and 730pm start for all other teams.

We need at least 1 person from every team to attend.

Items to be discussed will include:

• 2018 competition structure and team gradings
• Team registrations update and paid player status
• Working With Children checks
• Electronic Match Sheets for 2018
• 2018 law changes
• Playing uniforms
• Code of Conduct and zero tolerance policy

HRSC Premier League team training and trials

Girls teams at Holroyd Rangers Soccer Club in 2018

We are hoping to form several junior girls teams at Holroyd Rangers in 2018.

• U6 / U7 Girls
• U11 Girls
• U16 Girls

All of these teams would play their games on Sundays. 

The U6 / U7 Girls would play in the local Granville District competition.

The U11 Girls and U16 Girls would play in the combined Granville & Blacktown competitions.

But for us to form teams in these 3 age groups we do need more players.

Anyone interested should turn up on Wed 14th or Wed 21st Feb at 7pm for a free come-and-try session.

This initiative by the NSW Office of Sport to get kids into sport is fantastic and they are giving a discount of $100 off our fees starting this year.

Commencing from January 31 the NSW Government will provide a $100 voucher to parents/guardians of school enrolled children which can be used for registration and participation costs for sport and fitness activities. Every child (4.5 - 18 years’ old) enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 will be eligible for an Active Kids Voucher. This includes those who are home-schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW. It will not be means tested and one voucher will be available for every child in the family annually over the next four years.

Holroyd Rangers All Age Ladies div 4 team are Grand Champions

Holroyd Rangers AAL div 4 team won their Grand Final 2-0 against Ponds FC to be crowned as Grand Champions for 2017.
In a dominant display the Holroyd Ladies all gave their best and proved to be too strong and too good. Goalkeeper Lauren was named Player of the Match making several great saves at key moments in the game. Holroyd shut down everything that Ponds threw at them and scored a goal at the 30th minute and then again early 2nd half.
Congratulations to all the team and coach Joe on an outstanding 2017 season.
