Great to hear there is a 40th anniversary celebration. I played started with HR as an 8 year old in about 1979 (i think) and played there til I was 15 when my team folded and meant having to try another club. I returned back to HR to play premier league in the early to mid 90's when premier league was quite succesful - being runners up 3 years running and then finally winning the title in 96. I haven't seen John Higgins for years but our families are close friends and I look forward to catching up. It will also be great to see John Holland and his family who would also called family friends. I will pass the word on to alot of the guys that I still have some touch with and my brother (Robert) will also have plenty of contacts.
