Round 14 match results

Sat 21st July:
U6 v Wenty Waratah D
U7 v Greystanes B
U10 div 3 v Pendle Hill Won 3-0
U15 div 2 v Rouse Hill Won 3-2
This was sent to our club email address from a parent from the U15/2 Castle Hill United team:
"I just wanted to pass on congratulations to your U15/2 team for their win on Saturday v Rouse Hill.
I am the parent of an U15/2 player at Castle Hill United (and also previous committee member) and we have played your U15/2 team twice this season. Both games resulted in wins to CHU, but our parents and our boys were so very impressed by your team’s spirit, morale and attitude on both occasions and we admire their resilience in turning up each week to play in what must be a very frustrating season for them. We normally call such a tough season “character-building” but your boys appear to have that in spades already!
I was speaking to some parents from Castle Hill Rockets 15/2 team on Saturday and they also commented on what a fantastic group of boys you have in that team. You should be justifiably proud of them as they are great ambassadors for your community.
I was absolutely delighted to see them post a win on Saturday and I’m sure I speak on behalf of quite a few parents and U15 boys here in the Hills in saying we wish your boys much success in their future soccer."

Sun 22nd July:
U16G div 2 v Merrylands SFC Draw 0-0
The girls played a fantastic game full of enthusiasm which resulted in a nil all draw
against Merrylands. The team is suffering from a few injuries but managed to struggle
through the game. On the previous Monday evening, the team had an amazing win against
Castle Hill United with a score of 10-nil. Again due to injuries the girls played short but
lifted themselves to keep on scoring and defending brilliantly. Although Castle Hill are at
the bottom of the ladder and our team is currently leading it was still an excellent effort
to keep the opposition to nil for both of these games. Hopefully this coming Sunday we will
be back to our full strength team. Thanking all the parents and supporters of this group of
girls - you are superb supporters and all the girls thrive on this backup.

All Age Ladies div 4 v Rouse Hill Loss 4-2
All Age Ladies div 3 v Kellyville Won 1-0
