Round 15 results - boys and men

U/6 v Elrich Wenty Waratah Loss 4-0

U/7 Aloisi v Merrylands SFC Won 5-0

U/7 Neill v Grella Wenty Waratah Won 4-0
The boys and girls were a bit slow to get going today but they hadn’t played in 6 weeks so that was expected. As the team started to get going the skills that they have developed this year such as passing and looking for team mates started to show. We went to the have time break 2-0 ahead with goals by Ethan and Rayaan. The team started the second half better with some great runs by Ethan, Billie and Lucas with one run seeing Lucas passing to Rayaan to score. George was always in the right position to receive the ball but was unlucky to only get 1 goal. The final score was 4-0 to us. Jazmin Received the Player of the Match and both Rayaan and Ethan received the Achievement Awards.

U/8 v Skoko North Rocks Won 17-0

U/9/6 v Kellyville Won 7-0
Today’s game we had to change a few positions around due to a few absent players. We took the field with 10 players and started scoring within the first 5 minutes. The half time score had us up 4-nil. The 2nd half saw us put another 3 goals away. Keep up the good work. Coach Vicki

U/10/3 v Baulkham Hills Won 1-0

U/11/4 v Wenty Waratah Won 4-1

U/12/5 v Lidcombe Falcons Loss 1-0

U/15/3 v Guildford County Won 4-2
Well played today boys this win sealed our finals spot. First half you controlled the game very well 2–0 at halftime. Usual sleep in the second half to let County back into the game 2–2. You kicked started again to finish them off 4–2. Goal scorers Matt (2), Andrew and Jack Knight.

Sen 3’s v Greystanes Loss 4-3

Sen 7’s v Greystanes Won 2-1

O/35/4 v Baulkham Hills Loss 8-1
A spectacularly exciting game for Baulko and their 100-odd spectators. With 9 men at kick-off and 10 after 15 minutes we were up against the wall from the start. Half-time down 2-1 (after scoring first from Hop’s shoulder!) and still in with a show until we well and truly ran out of puff. Baulko’s first was blatantly offside and they finished the game with 2 flukes off the side of the boot and then nuttied our keeper while on his knees!? But full marks to Baulko who kept up the pace. Referee was ordinary but it was not his abysmal performance that cost us the match - it was our own. Had we been anywhere near competitive that could possibly be a different story. Frustrating game/season/year! (Courtesy of MrAliB, SlowFox and Capt G)
