U/12G v Kellyville Won 2-0
After 4 weeks without playing and a lot of the girls playing sick, the girls were a bit rusty. The first half was very even with the game flowing from end to end & by half time the score was nil all. The 2nd half was much the same & Karly in goals was playing a great game keeping the scores level. With only 5 minutes to go & thinking a draw would be a fair result, Hayley put a good ball through to Victoria who made a good run into the box only to be tackled, with the ball then rolling out to Simone on the edge of the penalty area which she hit with a great shot into the top corner of the net. From the kick-off I knew the next few minutes was going to be tough, but Chloe tackled the attacker from the kick-off & scored a great solo goal by taking on half the team & finishing off with a well placed shot to take us to a 2-0 win. This was a great result for us as the top 6 teams in the comp are very close & every point is vital. Again it was a great fighting spirit from every girl. The player of the match was Karly, who made numerous good saves all game.
U/14G/2 v Baulkham Hills Won 4-2
Excellent game all round by the whole team. Controlled from the start to the finish. Keep up the good teamwork girls and we will go a long way. Good goals by Renea (3) and Rochelle. Also a great save by Shayley in goals when the score was 3-2. Also we will be working on our THROW INS. Very proud coach and manager - Pete and Tracey
