Keen to avenge our first round 1-0 loss to St Micks we came out fired up and soon went ahead with a couple of quick goals. Another before the break and we were comfortable, but perhaps sat back too much 2nd half and St M came at us strongly. They scored through a penalty then we got 1 more to put the game out of reach before they grabbed a late 2nd goal. All in all we played well but took our foot off the pedal in the 2nd half. U16G div 2 v Kellyville Won 2-1
Very tough, hard fought win today. 2 great goals by Sarah P., great save by keeper Shayley from a direct penalty, some injuries as well. Was a super team effort today, every team seems to be coming after the leaders and your response over the last couple of weeks has been fantastic. It’s a tough month ahead girls but if you show the courage, determination and enthusiasm you showed today there will be no stopping us. Very proud of the effort today. Great result for the Ladies with some nice goals and solid defence to keep a clean sheet. Good passing was a highlight.
