Coaches and Managers Meeting

A meeting with the HRSC Committee and all team Coaches and Managers is scheduled for Monday 18th Feb at 7:30pm in the clubhouse. At least 1 representative from each team should attend this meeting. Contact John Nash on 0422 006 939 for more details.

Abusive coach behaviour

Football NSW has received numerous calls about abusive coach behaviour and would like to remind all clubs and coaches of the following points:
· Clubs have a responsibility to ensure all children involved in the sport are being treated with respect, equality and understanding.
· Coaches are not permitted to abuse or bully children under any circumstances.
· Complaints about coach behaviour towards children are to be treated as serious and appropriate action is to be taken.
· Club and coach focus should be on children enjoying the game, making friends and learning about football.
· The focus of rooball is not to win but to enjoy.

Football NSW will not tolerate this type of behaviour by any coach or other persons within the sport.
