Round 7 results - Girls and Ladies

U12G v Winston Hills White Won 6-0
Match report: A really good result today, girls, with every girl playing really well and starting to put in the hard work in the game. The result might look like an easy game but it was a hard 1st half. Winston Hills started off very well creating some good chances that were saved because of some great goal keeping by Karly. We were on the scoreboard 10 mins into the match after some good defence got the ball up to Chloe who beat some players then scored confidently. At 1/2 time it was 1-0 with a lot of work to do before we could feel comfortable. Victoria was back after being out for 3 weeks with a broken toe and her speed up front was a welcome sight with her twice getting through the backline and scoring 2 break away goals. our 4th goal was a well chased goal for Simone who worked hard all game and was rewarded with a nice goal through a determined run. Chloe finished the game off with the final 2 goals which one of them came from a nice Kirstyn throw-in. I wish I could give every girl a trophy today but Victoria got player of the match for her game and 2 goals after being out for a while. Kirstyn's improvement every week is encouraging and Karly's goal keeping today was the best I've seen from her.
