Round 2 match results

ROUND 2 - 12th / 13th April

U/6 - Won 5-0 and Draw 1-1

Welcome and congratulations to our new player Maddison who scored our
first goal. Waseem scored a few and Jamal also scored one. Amber tried
hard and had one terrific shot which just went wide. Patrick again
played well and is looking for the pass which is great at U6 level.
Teamwork is improving with each week. The important thing is everyone
is enjoying themselves. Well done everyone!

U/7 v Castle Hill United White Loss 3-1

U/8 Blue v Lidcombe Waratah Blue Draw 1-1

U/8 Red v Winston Hills Loss 2-0

An improved game by all players. We are still adjusting to not having a
coach on the field and will continue to improve with more hard training.
Good work guys and keep up the effort.

U/9 div 2 v Kellyville Won 3-0

U/10 div 5 v Guildford County Loss 5-1

U/11 div 2 v Kellyville Draw 1-1

U/12 div 4 v Pendle Hill Won 5-0

U/13 div 3 v Granville Waratah Loss 9-0

U/16 div 2 v Greystanes Loss 5-0

O35/4 v North Rocks Loss 5-0

Once again conceding early goals killed us. We let NR waltz through the
midfield and shoot at will. A much better 2nd half only conceding 1
goal and creating a few chances for ourselves. A good first up game
from our new signing. We have to turn things around very quickly.

O35/5 v Winston Hills Black Loss 4-1

Senior 3's v Merrylands SFC Won 4-1

Senior 6's v Winston Hills Won 2-0

U/12 Girls v North Rocks Won 4-0

U/14 Girls div 1 v Kellyville Loss 5-1

U/16 Girls div 2 v Pendle Hill Won 4-2

11 players today and thanks to the girls from the 14's who helped us
out. 1st half we scored early when Rochelle tucked a nice shot into the
far corner from a tight angle after some good play from Daniela. A
lapse in concentration at the back saw PH get behind the defence a
couple of times and they managed to convert one of them. Renea scored
our 2nd with a lovely strike. Second half we played much much better -
passing was good and spreading out was better. We still need to move
the ball forward with a bit more urgency. Emily came out like a girl
possessed in the 2nd half and hit a lovely shot onto the right post
which rebounded into the goal. Even the short break for the lightning
storm near the end of the game didn't deter us and Emily promptly struck
another goal home into the back right corner. Solid work at the back
from Lauren, Danielle & Natalia. Natalia had an outstanding game
attacking the ball, earning her the Player of the Match. Mel was
unfortunate not to score after a couple of good attempts at goal.
Katelyn, Natasha and Emily played very well in the midfield. We missed
a few chances we should have put away. More work on fitness and
shooting.

AAL div 5 v Rouse Hill Rams Won 4-1

AAL div 2 v North Rocks Loss 5-3
