Round 3 match reports

Round 3 - Sat 19th / Sun 20th April

U6 - Washed out

U7 v Lidcombe Falcons Orange Won by Forfeit

U8 Blue v Merrylands SFC Loss 7-0

U8 Red v Lidcombe Waratah Won 4-1
A good result for all with great goals to Tait, John and Revell (2).
Top tackling and passing Brandon, Sophie, Leah, Liam and Aladdin. Keep
up the good work as we have made a great improvement with each game
played this year. This will continue with more hard training.
U9 div 2 - Washed out

U10 div 5 v St Josephs Loss 4-2

U11 div 2 v Baulkham Hills Loss 3-0

U12 div 4 v Rouse Hill Rams Loss 2-1

U13 div 3 - Washed out

U16 div 2 v Castle Hill United Loss 3-2

O35 div 4 v Ermington United Loss 1-0
A good game with 10 players. Darko with a strike from range just over
the bar. Ermo scored after 20 min with a curling left foot strike
inside the far post. But they didn't press home any advantage and their
attack withered on the flanks (good work from our wingers and backs). A
good 2nd half saw us with a few chances but running out of legs.
O35 div 5 v Granville Kewpies Won 6-2

Senior 3 - Washed out

Senior 6 v Pendle Hill Loss 2-1

U12 girls v Kellyville Won 6-0

U14 girls div 1 v Lidcombe Waratah Draw 5-5

Lucky to escape with a draw today. Girls need to mark and stay with our opposition. We also have to commit to the ball instead of watching it. Good game in goals by Kate who seems to be a natural and also Cleo who impresses every week.

U16 girls div 2 v Guildford County Won 2-0

Terrific game played with 11 players partly in pouring rain. We dominated the midfield with great control and passing from Daniela, Katelyn, Rochelle, Emily and Natasha. Our wingers Emily and Natasha (Player of the Match) held their width and created havoc running the ball down the sidelines and passing inside. Lauren S. was our sole striker and did her job putting away both our goals. Able support in attack was provided from Rochelle, Emily and Natasha running through. Even our backs made the occasional run forward. Backline was solid once again with Lauren G. her usual cool self quickly defusing the oppositions attack with some solid physical defensive work. Rebekah, Danielle and Natalia all anticipated the play and turned GC's attack to the sides, leaving Megan little to do in goals other than to gather GC's occasional long range shots at goal. A great game by all and our 3rd consecutive win. Coach is very proud of this terrific team.

All Age Ladies div 5 - bye

All Age Ladies div 2 v Winston Hills Won 2-1
