U/6 Black v PCYC Red
Our 4 players – Ahmed, Fayez, Jamal and Patrick - battled bravely today. They all enjoyed the game and are learning to kick the ball away from the other team. Patrick scored a nice goal.
U/6 Green v Guildford Gold
A great game today that flowed from end to end of the field. Some great work from Jesse to kick the ball away from the other team. Amber and Maddison continue to take on players bigger and faster than they are. Waseem again very strong, scoring many goals and getting back to stop the other team. Some nice passing is starting to happen.

We barely got out of first gear in this game and should have won by a bigger margin against a team of 9 players. I’ll put it down to so many players carrying injuries, and the important thing is we got the win and the 3 points. Some good attacking play in the 1st half saw Lauren S. and Natasha score goals. In the 2nd half Lauren S. bagged another after a nice cross into the area. Megan with a shot off the post almost scored her first ever goal. Miray and Lauren S. made some good runs down the wings. Natasha played well as forward, a position she is not used to. Daniela and Danielle some good tackling and passing in midfield. Rebekah and Danielle both seemed to enjoy their stint in the midfield, with Rebekah playing some nice passes through and good overall play, earning her the player of the match award. Natalia pushed forward when the chance was there and contributed well in the front half of the field.
